Draupathi – A Tamil Play - A Symbol of Woman power and resilience.

Portrayal of an Epic Woman as a Mega Stage Play Staged in many Indian cities, Dubai, Muscat and Singapore with overwhelming response from the audience and the press alike.

A Mega Theatrical Production about the Indian Epic Woman of Mahabharata - Presented in a poetic form comprises of all art forms Music, Dance and Drama. 

Draupathi, is the main female protagonist of the epic Mahabharata - a multi-talented, intelligent woman with an unbending will and the proud heroine of the epic Mahabharata! 

Draupathi was born from fire – in a YAGNA organized by King Durupada , King of Panchala. Draupathi was offered as a throwing spear in a political game. Draupadi, a woman who has lost the her childhood days , is brought up for the purpose of her birth. She is noted for her beauty, courage. With her natural ingenuity and artistic talents, she learned many arts and roams around the Panchala Palace as a Multi-Talented Princess.

The play showcases how a woman in Dvapara Yuga has faced many challenges and won over all of them with poise and dignity and establish Dharma in this world and stands as an inspiration to the current generation women.

Draupathi Play is based on Vyasa Bharatham, Villi Bharatham and Mahakavi Bharathiyar’s Paanjaali Sabatham, Music by Raj Kumar Bharathi. (Great-grandson of Mahakavi Bharathiyar)
