Laasya ArtsAcademy is solely specialized in Sangeetham, Bharata Natyam, Veena, andNattuvangam. Besides conducting 51 dance and music arrangements as well asproducing various dance productions to date, they have also received accoladesboth in Malaysia and abroad. The founder and principal of Laasya Arts Academy,Dr. Guruvayur Usha Dorai has received an Honorary Doctorate award and titlefrom the Hindustan Art & Music Society in recognition of her outstanding contributionsto Indian Classical dance along with social service through her noble gesture.
MalaysiaBharathi Tamil Mandram was officially formed as a registered organisation underROS in 2015. it was initiated by a group of like-minded elders and prominentscholars under the leadership of Mr. R.T. Thiyagarajan who was the TamilSchools coordinator in Malaysia. Bharathi Tamil Mandram took the initiative torecognise, celebrate and record the contributions and achievements of leadingmembers of our society in the various fields especially in Iyal, Isai andNadagam. Mandram also aspires to inculcate positive values among our primaryschool students using the life work of our great poet ‘Mahakavi Bharathiar.’ aswe all know, Bharathiar was a great poet of reformation and inspiredgenerations of Indians with his poems. he brought about an enlightenment amongIndians for independence, self-emancipation and reiterated the need for goodeducation especially for women.
KOMAL Theatre , founded by Dharini Komal is a renowned theatre group based in Chennai, Chennai. This theatre group is continuation of the popular STAGE FRIENDS – (staging plays from 1971) started to give tribute to the Tamil Theatre Legend Shri. Komal Swaminathan who has dedicated his life to Tamil Theatre.
The Objective and Goal of Komal Theatre
