天鹅之歌 The Swan Song

 

俄罗斯剧作家安东·巴甫洛维奇·契诃夫在27岁写下《天鹅之歌》，是根据自己的小说《卡尔卡斯》（Kalkhas）改编的，1890年1月19日上演于圣彼得堡的亚历山大剧院。

传说，天鹅在垂死之前会发出它这一生最凄美的叫声，把一生对美和湖水的依恋化为最后的绝唱，也许是因为知道自己时间不多了，所以要把握这最后的时光，将它最美好的一面毫不保留地完全表现出来。

一家电台正在进行着《成功者背后的女人》的系列访谈节目。这一期的节目嘉宾是著名话剧演员欧嘉，她会在节目里分享她的爱情与婚姻生活，及如何扮演好一个成功作家背后女人的角色。与欧嘉性格完全不同的主持人米奇也有个初恋作家，与作家的虐恋让她患得患失、痛苦不已，但这个男人仍是她至今无法忘怀的“孤独者”。欧嘉深爱的男人在生命的最后找到了爱情，创作了人生中最辉煌的作品，也许，这就是一个作家的“天鹅之歌”吧。

离职的优秀话剧演员杨戈在临别前一夜到剧院服装间归还戏服，却在这里撞见天赋不高的新晋演员欧德在偷偷默戏。两个男人在这里交换着彼此心中的艺术观，分享过去演出的经历，和对表演艺术的种种观念和想法。这一夜，服装间刹那变成神圣的舞台，世界著名剧作里的经典角色再现眼前，杨戈在告别舞台时迸发了一个优秀演员一生的精华，可惜这般华彩只降落在无人知晓的后台。“我要是能死在剧场该多好，我要是能死在观众面前该多好”，也许，这就是一个演员的“天鹅之歌”吧。

Russian playwright Anton Pavlovich Chekhov wrote “Swan Song” at the age of 27, adapted from his novel “Kalkhas.” Premiered on 19 January 1890, at the Alexander Theatre in St. Petersburg. Legend has it that swans sing their most beautiful song before dying, turning a lifetime of love for beauty and lakes into a final masterpiece.

A radio station is conducting a series of interviews called “Women Behind Successful Men”. In this episode, renowned actress Olga will share her love and married life, portraying the role of a successful writer’s woman. The host, Mickey, with a completely different personality, has a crush on a tortured writer, creating a love story that she can’t forget. Olga’s beloved man finds love in the final moments of his life, creating his most brilliant work. Perhaps, this is a writer’s “Swan Song”.

Talented actor, Young, resigning from the theatre, returns costumes the night before leaving. He discovers a novice actor, Old, secretly practicing in the dressing room. The two exchange artistic views, share past experiences, and discuss various concepts and thoughts about performing arts. That night, the dressing room becomes a sacred stage, classic characters from world-renowned plays reappearing. Young, bidding farewell to the stage, unleashes the essence of a brilliant actor’s life, unfortunately landing in the backstage, known to no one. “How good it would be if I could die on stage, how good it would be if I could die in front of the audience”, perhaps, this is an actor’s “Swan Song”.
