About

Life Sdn Bhd was there to save The Actors Studio after our devastating experience of the floods that ruined almost everything we had worked for for about 8 years. Our precious collections of photos, videos and books were destroyed.

Joe and I looked at each other through our tears and asked ourselves how do we move forward from here? Our tears did not last long as we gathered our energies to the tune Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) thus beginning stories that Life must go on with the first installment in 2004. It is a never to be forgotten journey as we looked at our theatre and non-theatre friends who were there to help share their true stories.

It has shared real stories by real people on breast cancer, abuse, refugees, human trafficking, people living with HIV and AIDS, the young, differences and more.

Every year when Life hits the stage, audiences are gob-smacked at the bravery each story-teller had. It is not easy to share these sometimes with a tear, a chuckle, laughter but most times a pain that you take home with you.

Here we are again. This issue of mental health and mental well-being is very, very real.
