老王音乐剧 Lao Wang the Musical

故事围绕青少年林国庆与自小陪伴他的AI管家“老王”展开。由于父母长期不在身边，林国庆几乎只与老王互动，难以与他人建立联系。他长期待在家中，沉迷于虚拟游戏，在虚拟世界里获得认可并结交了许多朋友。然而，在现实生活中，林国庆无法与同学交流，完全依赖老王处理一切事务。一次校外活动中，林国庆意外失去了老王，这一事件彻底改变了他对世界的看法。老王的存在究竟带来了什么样的影响？

The story centers around a teenager, Lin Guoqing, and his AI servant, "Lao Wang," who has been by his side since childhood. With his parents rarely around, Lin Guoqing mainly communicates with Lao Wang and struggles to form connections with others. He spends most of his time at home, immersed in virtual games, gaining recognition and making many friends. However, in the real world, he is unable to interact with his peers and relies entirely on Lao Wang to manage everything. During a school outing, Lin Guoqing unexpectedly loses Lao Wang, and this event drastically alters his perception of the world. What kind of impact did Lao Wang truly have on his life?

《老王音乐剧》曾在2019年Short+Sweet艺术节中荣获多项大奖，包括奔驰马来西亚创意卓越奖。今年，这部作品将以全新面貌再次登台。由编导楊宏强倾力策划，《老王音乐剧》汇聚了音乐创作、编曲、肢体舞蹈、服装设计、灯光和投影技术等各领域的专业人才，还引入了全新的演员阵容，共同打造一个更加完整、深刻、动人的故事。

"Lao Wang the Musical" won multiple awards at the 2019 Short+Sweet Festival, including the Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Award for Creative Excellence. This year, the musical returns with a fresh new production. Directed and produced by Dylan Yeo, the show brings together experts from various fields—music composition, choreography, costume design, lighting, and projection technology, along with a brand-new cast—to create a more complete, profound, and emotionally resonant story.
