About
“Stories are like the wind, coming from afar and known only to your heart.”
The Story Traveller invites children to open their suitcases and embark on an adventure, uncovering timeless folktales along the way.
This storytelling experience will use five languages (Malay, Mandarin, English, Tamil, Hokkien) and share four stories: “The Princess of Mount Ledang”, “The Legend of the Nian Beast”, “The Elephant-Headed God Ganesha” and “The Princess of Tanjung Bungah”. Each storytelling session will be in a different language, offering listeners a chance to experience stories from different cultures in their chosen language.
With a cosy back lane as the backdrop, story travellers will be whisked away to faraway lands. From magical princesses and great gods to local legends and a mythical Lunar New Year beast, each story carries travellers across cultures and through the centuries.
