The Show That Will Not Win An Award

The Show That Will Not Win An Award is an exploratory staging of rock genre music featuring Freida Ooi, Fuad of Kyoto Protocol, Yon Lynn of Fazz and Ian Chow (who also helm the Director role). Despite the playful title, the performers will be taking the audience on a journey through love, loss, and introspection. 

Backed by four piece band with a string trio (all led by Jacqueline Teng), Ian will  be reuniting with Cheryl Ong as Co-Director, after the two successful 2024 YSD-klpac Connects collaboration, Yesterday Once More 5 and RWD / FWD. 

The Show That Will Not Win An Award promises to craft an experience that balances both quiet reflection and vibrant energy of the rock songs that the performers chosen to save.

Age Limit: Recommended for 4 years old and above. 

Parental Advice: If your child is restless / crying, please bring them out of the hall. After they’ve calmed down, you can re-enter with the assistance of our ushers.
