星音符邀请来自美国的李安田亲自操刀执导兼主演,锺洁希担任第一女主角。参与演出《别说爱错》话剧的演员包括了马杰飞《音乐盒》及《红楼梦》的男主角,目前也是大学主修戏剧及音乐表演系,同时也集聚了多位资深演员同台演出。

“Meant to Be” is a heartful, romantic stage adaptation of a classic novel about modern love.

Symphony Theatre invited Paul Lee from the U.S. to direct and star in the stage play, while Jessie Chung stars as lead actress. Also performing in the play “Meant to Be” is Jeffrey Beh, who starred in “Music Box” and “The Dream of Red Mansions”. At present, he is a graduate student majoring in performing arts and music. The cast is also comprised of many experienced actors and actresses.

星音符邀请来自美国的李安田亲自操刀执导兼主演,锺洁希担任第一女主角。参与演出《别说爱错》话剧的演员包括了马杰飞《音乐盒》及《红楼梦》的男主角,目前也是大学主修戏剧及音乐表演系,同时也集聚了多位资深演员同台演出。

拥有双重国籍的李安田导演,自小在美国和台湾两地成长,在大学主修戏剧及音乐表演系,属于性格派演员,并且曾在美国受过名师指导拍摄及导演,曾经执导过多部话剧、短片和广告,他也是红楼梦的男主角之一。

这次除了执导《别说爱错》,李导演也会自导自演,担任第一男主角,并且亲自填词演唱话剧主题曲《别说爱错》,插曲《爱的痕迹》。李导演将使用高质量的音效器材和高清LED背景呈现。《别说爱错》话剧主要是为癌症病患筹募基金。

有些人的爱情轰轰烈烈,有些人却默默守候的爱着。当发现爱情里包含了谎言,该如何抉择?选择抓住一次幸福的机会,还是因为执着而选择放弃?《别说爱错》到底要带给观众什么的感悟和体会,让我们一起期待!

Synopsis

Say you love me, that we’re meant to be.
“Meant to Be” is a heartful, romantic stage adaptation of a classic novel about modern love.

Raising funds for the cause of cancer, the stage play has been performed eight times, each time to a full house.

Symphony Theatre invited Paul Lee from the U.S. to direct and star in the stage play, while Jessie Chung stars as lead actress. Also performing in the play “Meant to Be” is Jeffrey Beh, who starred in “Music Box” and “The Dream of Red Mansions”. At present, he is a graduate student majoring in performing arts and music. The cast is also comprised of many experienced actors and actresses.

Paul Lee, director and lead actor of “Meant to Be”, was raised between the U.S. and Taiwan. He majored in performing arts and music and specializes in character acting. He learned the craft of cinematography and directing under a few renowned instructors in the U.S. and has directed many plays, short films and commercials. He also starred in “The Dream of Red Mansions” as one of the male leads.

Besides directing “Meant to Be”, Director Paul Lee also writes the lyrics for and performs the theme song of the same name, “Meant to Be” and soundtrack song “Traces of Love”. For the play, Director Lee uses high-quality sound equipment and a high-definition LED. The play “Meant to Be” is a fundraiser for cancer patients.
