About

Is home…
our birthplace?
the workspace?
where our feet take us?
in a land we’ve never been to?
just a box we return to every night?
somewhere we can really be ourselves?
on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram?
merely a state of mind?
All or none of the above?

DON’T LIKE IT HERE? THEN LEAVE explores the different notions of home and the anxieties that come along with them. Where do we belong, physically and digitally? And when all is said and done, does it make more sense to stay, or leave?

Using a range of storytelling forms, this devised project is the second and final Mainstage of Theatresauce’s 2022 season. Presented in collaboration with klpac.

Content warning: This production contains satire, strong language, and sexual themes. Loud sounds, bright lights, and strobe lights are also used. Viewer discretion is advised. For mature audiences.

Buy 3 Free 1 — that's RM36 per ticket for a company of four.

In the following week, Theatresauce’s directors from the Emerging Directors Lab 2021/22 will present their third and final showcase, these familiar strangers, from May 25 – 29 at the Rooftop Theatre, Sunway College. Tickets here: https://www.cloudtix.co/shows/these-familiar-strangers
