The Sensing Body is an exploration of presence, sensation, and movement through contemporary dance-based practices. This workshop invites you into a journey of body and mind connection, improvisation, and embodied awareness — including the experience of partnering work through contact with others and interaction with space. A space to rediscover how the body feels, responds, and creates in the moment.

About Instructor

Xueli is a dance artist and body movement researcher based in Malaysia.She has collaborated with directors and choreographers from diverse fields, creating experimental dance theatre, physical theatre, and movement-based works. Xueli has also performed in various interdisciplinary productions, seeking to explore the potential of the body in performance, especially within the context of dance and theatre. Her recent works in 2024 include ‘Vital Insights’ and ‘Bonding’.
