YS Tang, a distinguished figure in Malaysia’s classical music landscape. A graduate of Texas Tech University School of Music with a Master’s degree in Music Performance, the artist has continuously expanded the reach of classical music through concerts, public seminars, and youth outreach initiatives. Tang is also a dedicated collaborator, performing with chamber ensembles and focusing on early music, and a vast repertoire that spans from Bach to Barrios. His contributions to both performance and pedagogy make him a leading voice for the classical guitar.<br><br>YS Tang 是 马来西亚古典吉他演奏家。他毕业于美国德州,Texas Tech University School of Music, 获得音乐演奏系硕士学位。除了个人演奏以外,他还积极参与室内乐团的合作演出,专注于早期音乐,曲目涵盖从早期音乐到南美音乐的广泛作品。邓老师通过音乐会、公开讲座推广古典音乐活动,默默为古典吉他文学的传播贡献。

Finger style / Blues: Yuta Tanaka

He was born on February 1987 in Japan. He listened to various genres of music that inspired him to begin playing the guitar at age of twenty.<br><br>He has performed in the United Kingdom,Germany,Switzerland,Australia,New Zealand,Japan,Philippine and Malaysia.<br><br>His passion is to play the blues ,however with years of dedication and countless hours of practice he has developed an extra ordinary technique and finger style ability to simultaneously play complex bass lines, harmony and melody at the same time.<br><br>His original compositions are influenced by roots music like blues ,jazz, country and so on.<br><br>Especially his ballads and bluesy compositions are popular with his audience.<br><br>Performed at Kota Kinabalu jazz festival festival 2014, awarded audience prize at fingerpicking day 2016 in Japan.<br><br>Performed during Peace boat world cruise on 2023.
