Butoh workshop by Ichihara Akihito

Participants will immerse themselves in the Sankai Juku and ELF movement vocabulary, a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. The workshop welcomes anyone with an interest in movement, art, or the profound connection between the human body and nature. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Anyone who is interested in exploring the body, children over 6 years old and senior citizen  are welcome to participate. (No dance experience required)

导师简介 / About Akihito Ichihara：

市原昭仁 (「山海塾」资深舞者兼ELF Dance Project总监）。

他是唯一演过山海塾所有作品的舞者，并在多部山海熟作品中担任独舞。市原昭仁以舞者身分和多国的编舞家、导演和团体合作，亦举办了多场活动推广舞踏。 2022年，他与纸冈慧和藤本凛乃成立了ELF Dance Project，在世界各地进行演出交流及工作坊。他现于冈山大学研究生院担任体育与艺术教育的合作教师，并在日本和海外的大学举办交流活动与表演。

Ichihara has performed in all of Sankai Juku’s performances as one of the principal dancers. He often collaborates with choreographers, directors, and dance groups worldwide. In 2022, he founded the dance company, “ELF”, and has since presented works at renowned institutions.
