About
The Human Library of KL Voices will be "stocked" with 24 Human Books who visitors to our library may register to dialogue with. Our Human Books are drawn from the breadth of KL communities - from politicians to refugees, the physically challenged, students, immigrant workers, activists, corporate leaders, religious leaders, artists, homemakers, elders and members of the media.
Our objective with this Human Library is to offer the KL public the chance for a 20-minute two-on-one dialogue with 3 different KL Voices per 1 hour session. These Voices may be voices they do not often hear, sometimes dismiss, occasionally disagree with, frequently misunderstand, or may want to hear more from. We hope to challenge preconceptions. To UNjudge others. To realise that every human is a story and to hopefully discover that we may have more in common than merely co-existing in this city called KL.
Places are very limited, please ensure attendance and arrive 15 minutes early. Event will start on time.
We remind every visitor to please respect the personal boundaries of every Human Book and conduct every conversation with kindness.
