Engku Armand is a producer and actor. He co-founded Amberjade Arts alongside Artistic Director Wendy Wong, and produced “Opium at Closing Time” 2022 and “Opium by Any Other Name” 2023, both written and directed by Malaysian theatre practitioner Tarrant Kwok. Despite being a hospitality management graduate, he has also produced and acted in audio dramas with ZAG Podcasts, showcasing local Malaysian short horror stories. His most recent work was acting in a dramatic comedy show written by Scott Bergstein, staged at Michelin-starred restaurant Beta KL. His other upcoming works, Mr Lonely and Other Motivational Videos by Cheong Chua a theatre production set to be streamed on cloudjoi.
