BRIDGING BACH
Celebrating 10 years of connecting people through quality music
Bach’s music is a bridge—between people, cultures, and faiths—spanning from his time to ours through the timeless beauty of his work. It also serves as a bridge to the fundamental questions and experiences of life that we all encounter. This is a bridge that transcends time and space. And just as importantly, Bach’s music connects people around the world, uniting us through its profound humanity and hope. Throughout this festival, we will explore how Bach’s music remains deeply relevant—not only to musicians but also to everyday people across Malaysia and throughout Asia.
To spark this conversation, we are honored to present some of the most prominent artists and scholars from more than 10 countries. Our programme features two of Bach’s towering masterpieces—Goldberg Variations and St. Matthew Passion—alongside a rich array of performances, competitions, lectures, and forums. We also warmly welcome our guests from across Asia and around the world to be part of this historic celebration.
Bach’s works transcend mere entertainment; they inspire reflection, dialogue, and a deeper understanding of ourselves and others. His music addresses life’s most essential questions while offering a vision of light and hope, even amid darkness and uncertainty. This universal message remains as vital today as ever, reminding us of our shared humanity and our search for meaning. We warmly invite you to join us for this unprecedented and exhilarating celebration—an international event for all and an experience you truly won’t want to miss!
