向日葵在唱歌 5.0 Sunflower is Singing 5.0

槟城向日葵室内合唱团成立于2018年，由林彩菱老师创办。林老师拥有伯明翰城市大学的艺术与科学学士学位，并获得伦敦三一学院的声乐ATCL与LTCL（优异奖）。她目前是威尔士王子国际学校的声乐教师，同时担任合唱团指挥和音乐导演。

我们的合唱团汇聚了一群热爱艺术与歌唱的志同道合者，现有11位成员，他们是：李玉桦、林镁媖、李清仪、陈凤英、陈春梅、周纯霖、陈素月、陈玉琼、陈雅玲、黄惠娟和刘智敏。

合唱团是一支充满热情的歌唱团体，成员们因对音乐和社区的热爱而团结在一起。以向日葵命名，象征着温暖、快乐和韧性，我们通过多样化的曲目展示这些特质，曲目涵盖从古典合唱作品到现代编曲。

自成立以来，向日葵室内合唱团积极参与各类演出活动，致力于传播音乐的美好。我们的演出历程包括：

2019年7月20日：在槟城表演艺术中心举办首次合唱演出。

2020年8月29日：举办线上合唱表演。

2020年10月31日：呈现线上演出“我和春天有个约会”。

2021年7月17日：线上合唱表演“向日葵在唱歌2.0”。

2022年1月27日：线上新春歌曲演出。

2022年2月3日：线上合唱表演“向日葵在唱歌3.0 之 夜上海之夜”。

2022年8月27日与28日：实体合唱表演“向日葵在唱歌4.0”。

2023年1月28日：新春庙会表演，联合槟城著名画家火柴人陈维铭，演出短剧“玉兔迎春”。

向日葵合唱团的使命是通过歌声传播积极向上的能量和灵感。我们在各种活动中演出，包括慈善活动、社区聚会和季节性音乐会。无论是演唱动人的和声还是振奋人心的颂歌，我们致力于通过音乐丰富人们的生活，促进团结。

在2023年，我们在世界声乐与合唱比赛中荣获银奖，这充分展示了我们对卓越的追求和对合唱音乐的热爱。期待与大家一同分享音乐的魅力！

The Penang Sunflower Ensemble was founded in 2018 by Ms. Lim Chai Lin. Ms. Lim holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts and Science from Birmingham City University and has achieved ATCL and LTCL (with Distinction) in Vocal Studies from Trinity College London. She is currently a vocal teacher at Prince of Wales International School, as well as the choir conductor and music director.

Our choir brings together a group of passionate individuals who share a love for the arts and singing. We currently have 11 members: Lee Gaik Wah, Lim Bee Eng, May Lee Cheng Ghee, Esther Chan Foong Ying, Tan Choon Boay, Chew Choon Lan, Tan Saw Guat, Janet Ang, Tan Ah Leng, Wong Wai Quen, and Angel Low Zhi Min.

As a passionate singing group, our members unite through a love for music and community. Named after the sunflower, which symbolizes warmth, joy, and resilience, we showcase these qualities through a diverse repertoire that includes classical choral works and contemporary arrangements.

Since our establishment, the Penang Sunflower Ensemble has actively participated in various performances to promote the beauty of music. Our performance history includes:

July 20, 2019: First choral performance at the Penang Performing Arts Centre.

August 29, 2020: Online choral performance.

October 31, 2020: Online performance "I have a date with spring"

July 17, 2021: Online choral performance "Sunflower is Singing 2.0."

January 27, 2022: Online Spring Festival song performance.

February 3, 2022: Online choral performance "Sunflower is Singing 3.0: Night in Shanghai."

August 27 and 28, 2022: Live choral performance "Sunflower is Singing 4.0."

January 28, 2023: New Year Festival temple fair performance, collaborating with renowned Penang artist "Matchstick Man" Jason Min to present the short drama "Jade Rabbit Welcomes Spring."

The mission of the Penang Sunflower Ensemble is to spread positive energy and inspiration through song. We perform at various events, including charity functions, community gatherings, and seasonal concerts. Whether delivering soulful harmonies or uplifting anthems, we are dedicated to enriching people's lives and fostering unity through music.

In 2023, we won a Silver Medal at the World Voice & Choral Competition, showcasing our pursuit of excellence and our love for choral music. We look forward to sharing the charm of music with everyone
