About
Sortilegio is a magical and mystical game where analog meets digital. Your imagination and the spirit of the wind become essential elements in creating a vivid world governed by cosmic forces.
Lambe Lambe Theatre forms the foundation of this intimate puppetry showcase. It is an artistic language where shows are presented inside a closed box. Spectators will peer through the peephole to uncover the world unfolding from within.
Inspired by “Creation of the Birds” by Spanish painter Remedios Varo, Sortilegio is an audio-visual puppetry experience for one person at a time, with each performance lasting approximately five minutes. Audiences will listen to soundscapes using headphones, and watch as miniature puppets and holographic projections create a world of wonder.
Peer into the Lambe Lambe theatre, where it's just you, tiny puppets, and grand stories.
*The artist will be having a four-day Lambe Lambe Theatre workshop, from 22nd to 25th July (7:00pm - 10:00pm), at Penang Harmony Centre. Registration required.
