About

As we are swept up in the wave of technological progress, will the arts keep up or will the art of storytelling be left drowning in its wake?

/// 1 0 /// is a collaborative project between composer and musician Ng Siu Yee and dancer and choreographer Steve Goh. As artists who witnessed the emergence of the digital era, Ng and Goh derive enjoyment from experimenting with tools, machines and the human body to push the boundaries of traditional art forms.

At the core of this experimental venture is the concept of a monster, a creature known by many, who yet remains abstract and undefined. /// 1 0 ///, like the ever-changing idea of the monster, is a show that is mythical, fluid and imaginative. The monster is a symbol that will encourage viewers to engage with and reflect on challenging themes, such as human nature and the fears and anxieties of society.

At this intersection of dance, music and technology, meet the monster and witness how technology expands storytelling possibilities.
