國光劇團 GuoGuang Opera Company, known for their innovative integration of contemporary consciousness into traditional opera, will be performing at George Town Festival 2024 as a featured programme!

Ahead of their GTF performance in July, join us on 2nd May for their one and only outreach cum sharing session in Penang. GuoGuang CEO Chang Yu-hua will offer an insightful talk, followed by captivating demonstration performances by Wusheng (male martial arts role) Li Jia-de and Dan (female role) Lin Ting-yu. With free entry, the event offers a rare opportunity to experience the magnificent art form firsthand.

海内外圈粉无数的台湾国家级传统戏曲表演团体「国光剧团」即将于今年登上2024乔治市艺术节国际舞台！

在大戏隆重登场前，诚邀你参加于5月2日槟城唯一一场官方推广活动。国光剧团团长张育华将率领一生一旦来马来西亚进行交流推广，优先与槟城观众进行近距离交流，并与观众介绍京剧在台湾的发展历程、畅谈国光如何克服传统戏曲式微的危机历程。国光武生李家德、旦角林庭瑜也将分享京剧演员的锻炼历程，现场并将小秀身手，示范演出。

无论是京剧戏痴或素人，艺术节团队呼吁大家共襄盛举、前来参与如此难能可贵的交流讲座活动。
