The CGFA Flute Choir returns with its highly anticipated third concert, “Music from Musicals”, following the resounding success of their SOLD-OUT productions:  “A Magical Adventure 2023” and “Spirited Melodies 2024”. This year, the ensemble invites you on a breathtaking journey through the golden age of Broadway and the magic of Hollywood, presenting an enchanting selection of beloved musical theatre and film classics reimagined through the brilliance of a flute ensemble.

Under the baton of Chew Sze Gee and esteemed guest conductor Dr. Low Chee Meng, the CGFA Flute Choir will showcase a dazzling repertoire, featuring well-loved tunes from Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, The Sound of Music, The Greatest Showman, Lalaland, High School Musical, Pitch Perfect and many more. Audiences can expect a stirring blend of nostalgia and exhilaration as these iconic melodies are brought to life through the rich harmonies and expressive artistry of Malaysia’s largest community flute ensemble.

About The CGFA Flute Choir
The CGFA Flute Choir is a community flute ensemble in Malaysia, under the umbrella of CG Flute Academy founded by Sze Gee CHEW. The ensemble hosts auditions annually welcoming flutists from all levels and ages. Their vision is to provide a group playing platform to all flute lovers to experience the fun of playing as a team. Most of the music performed were arranged by resident music arranger Casmond CHEW according to the theme of the concert programme respectively. Allowing the ensemble to include flutists from all different backgrounds, by designing different difficulty levels of music score based on section. The CGFA Flute Choir is currently the largest community flute ensemble in Malaysia.
