Journey of Discovery (The Silk Road) - inspired by Le Petit Prince

 

D’Danze Academy was established in April 2003 under the leadership of Suzanne Liew. With staff strength of 7 experienced and qualified dance teachers in various dance fields, and training more up and coming new trainee teachers, D’Danze Academy today has approximately 150 students and counting.
The academy was initially a dance and music school, which was first established in year 1988 under the name of “Changes Music & Dance” in Jinjang, Kepong. After more than 15 years in operation, Suzanne Liew decided to cease the partnership and shift its operation to the present premise at Bandar Sri Damansara.
D’Danze Academy provides dance education to children age 3 and a half and above. In addition, the teachers at the academy also choreograph for corporate events and charity shows. Among the events mentioned are the Avon Annual Dinner, Down Syndrome Annual Events, and Wedding Dinners to name a few.
Every year since its establishment, the academy has achieved 100% rate of Passes with approximately 80% Distinction for ballet examinations conducted by the London based Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) which is held each year between March and June.

In 2011, in order to cater for students in Bandar Country Homes, Rawang, D'Danze Center was set up and we have just moved to our new premise in Anggun City a year ago.

Clavier Academy of Ballet

Established in 2008 and located in Seri Kembangan, Clavier Academy of Ballet has dedicated itself to training potential youths into promising student dancers, amateur and professional dancers, and dance instructors. As part of our mission to provide excellent dance education and return to the community, we are excited to announce the upcoming launch of our new branch at Bukit Jalil in 2024.

A Ballet Performance Dance Work by Clavier Academy of Ballet

Experience the enchanting dance work, 乘愿而来，载爱而归 (Journey of Discovery), inspired by Le Petit Prince. This is a collaborative presentation by Clavier Academy of Ballet’s student dancers, under the artistic direction of the ballet academy principal, Carmen Yap Pui Mun. The performance is choreographed by Carmen Yap, Chen Jiunn Yee, Mandy Chua Xie Yenn, and Ashley Kook Shin You, and promises to captivate and inspire.

Clavier Academy of Ballet has innovatively brought together various art forms to create a multi-sensory experience. The performance proudly features collaborations with several exquisite artists, including dazzling stage visual art by Cassielelolea Art Studio, live music by the talented musicians Moses Lim and Lim Han Yin, and the finest costume designs by the award-winning designer Queenie Chamber, represented by Queenie Chong.
