《李韻華聲》李伍華先生作品音樂會 Ethereal Echoes：A Celebration of Cultural Resonance

李伍华先生，新加坡知名作曲家、指挥家及音乐活动家。曾是多个音乐团体发起人及指挥、新加坡艺术之家发起人、主席兼音乐总监、新加坡作曲家理事。除了发起、推动与参与许多国际性、国家级的音乐活动、也多次荣获国内外奖项；李先生坚守在中华民族文化工作六十多年的岗位，创作了近六十首的独唱合唱歌曲、二十多首的音乐作品、还创作了整部创新的新华剧《墙头记》的音乐及歌曲。中国中央音乐学院民乐团曾演奏过其创作的多部作品，由当时著名的指挥家-王甫建指挥；亦有许多著名歌唱家也唱过其创作的歌曲。这些都是他留给我们宝贵的文化遗产。李先生生前曾多次与新山南艺文化艺术协会合作及参与端午节文化活动并为话剧《屈原》编写合唱伴奏。南艺文化艺术协会长期活跃于马来西亚柔佛州，主办许多音乐会及相关活动、也培育了许多年轻的艺术人才。主办本场音乐会为本地观众介绍本区域著名音乐家的作品，身历其境感知在地音乐文化之美。

Mr. Lee Ngoh Wah is a celebrated composer, conductor, and music advocate from Singapore. Over the years, he’s been the driving force behind several music ensembles, the founder and music director of the TAS Theatre company of Singapore, and a key figure in the Singapore Composers Council. With a rich history of launching, supporting, and taking part in numerous international and national music initiatives, Mr. Lee has earned a long list of prestigious awards both in Singapore and abroad.

For over sixty years, he has championed Chinese cultural heritage, composing almost 60 orchestra and choral works, more than 20 other musical pieces, and even creating the music and songs for the groundbreaking Chinese opera(Xinhuaju) The Wall's Tale(Qiang Tou Ji). His compositions have been performed by the Chinese Orchestra of the Central China Conservatory of Music, conducted by the legendary Wang Fujian, and have been sung by many famous vocalists. These works represent a rich legacy of cultural contribution.

Throughout his life, Mr. Lee also collaborated closely with the Southern Chinese Musical Society in Johor, Malaysia, participating in Dragon Boat Festival cultural events and composing the choral accompaniment for the play Qu Yuan. The SCMS has been a cultural powerhouse in Johor, regularly hosting concerts, nurturing young talent, and bringing the region’s music scene to life. This concert is an opportunity to introduce the works and performances of our iconic local composer and musician to the audience and offer a first-hand experience of the vibrant, local music culture.
