About
In this enchanting tale, the lively world of vegetables and fruits dances and celebrates together. The Lemon Kingdom, known for its unfriendliness, poses a challenge. King Lemon believes lemons shouldn't mix with commoners, excluding Princess Lemon from the festivities. Chipollino, a compassionate onion, tries to include Princess Lemon but fails. Determined to cheer up his friend, Chipollino prepares a pool of tea with syrup to neutralize the sourness. Princess Lemon finds joy in the tea. Enraged, King Lemon orders an attack and showers the city with sour lemon juice. Chipollino's mother is captured. Act 1 ends with the fruits seeking shelter under umbrellas.
In Act 2, Chipollino meets Cherry, and they embark on a quest to rescue their mothers. With the help of sleep-inducing flower scents, they succeed. Chipollino seeks advice on bringing happiness to the city. Inspired by his mother, they express their unhappiness by peeling onions, fostering understanding. Emotions transform, culminating in a joyful group dance.
The story serves as a cautionary tale, highlighting the consequences of division and excessive use of lemons. It emphasizes the power of emotional expression, empathy, and understanding. Join this captivating journey filled with magic and valuable lessons!
Asia Ballet Academy
Perfecting the arts, creating the future
Through Vaganova's teaching methods, we aim to cultivate students’ technical capabilities in classical ballet while nurturing their artistic growth as dancers. Further, we strive to strengthen pupils’ whole-person development through the education of moral standards and ethical values alongside professional ballet training. This is accomplished by a carefully constructed combination of routine classroom learning of dance, music, and painting, on top of community outreach activities, performances, and competitions.
