About
Painting by The River: Kopi & Kuih Weekends is a relaxed, community-driven art experience by the River of Life; where painting meets coffee, local kuih, and the easy rhythm of the city. Designed for all levels, the weekend programme offers guided sessions, masterclasses, casual art jamming, and mini workshops you can enjoy at your own pace.
Saturday Programme
Kickstart your weekend with two guided Group Painting Sessions with Jerome: • 11.00am–1.00pm (Session 01) – RM30 per pax, up to 25 participants • 5.00pm–7.00pm (Session 02) – RM30 per pax, up to 25 participants
For couples or friends looking for a more personal experience, the Couple Art Jamming Session runs from 10.00am–6.00pm (any 2 hours), priced at RM60 per couple, perfect for a creative date by the river.
Sunday Programme
Sunday features an in-depth Masterclass Session with Jerome from 11.00am–2.00pm, limited to 10 participants at RM90 per pax — ideal for those seeking deeper guidance and focused learning. The afternoon continues with a Group Painting Session from 3.00pm–5.00pm, priced at RM30 per pax for up to 25 participants. The Couple Art Jamming Session is also available throughout the day from 10.00am–6.00pm (any 2 hours), at RM60 per couple.
Mini Workshops & Promotions
For walk-in visitors, Mini Workshops run daily from 10.00am–6.00pm. Simply purchase an art kit at RM15 per pack and create on site at your own pace.
Special promo: Enjoy a free coffee painting workshop with any merchandise purchase above RM25.
All materials are provided, and selected sessions include basic guidance from facilitators. Participants will also be documented as part of depositing culture into KL Riverbank, with a chance to be featured in the KL Riverbank Project highlights. Come for the art, stay for the kopi and kuih; and be part of a weekend where culture flows as freely as the river.
