About

Azul Fest Malaysia was born from a humble vision: to unite people through the expressive power of movement. With roots tracing back to Argentina, it has blossomed into a celebrated event in Malaysia, drawing aerial artists from across Asia and beyond—including Taiwan, Russia, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.

Life teaches that true strength is shown not just in daring acts, but in the stories that touch our hearts. At Azul Fest Malaysia, one part of the tournament reveals power and skill through aerial stunts and bold drops. The other shares meaning, as artists express emotions and existence through movement in the air.

This festival reminds us: dance has no borders, and every heart can be lifted by the beauty of connection.

Airfit Dance Studio, founded in 2016 in Malaysia, an aerial arts academy dedicated to training both children and adults in aerial performance. The studio is led by Artistic Director Charmaine Lim, and Aerial Artists includes  Ng Hui Mei, Tan Jia Hui, Chong Set Li, and Kerry Tay. Since its establishment, Airfit Dance Studio has built a strong reputation across the region, captivating audiences in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, China, and England through its competition performances. Airfit Dance Studio is grateful for the opportunity to warmly welcome Azul Fest Malaysia, a modest yet heartfelt effort to nurture and celebrate the art of aerial dance within our community and beyond. This second international competition warmly welcomes participants as young as 3 years old and as seasoned as 55, showing that the magic of dance in the air knows no boundaries of age or experience.
