About

Seni Untuk siapa? In Malaysia, who are the arts for? Who gets to experience it, make it, share it? Who gets to learn the arts? We in ReformARTsi believe that the arts should be accessible for everyone, no matter their background. But artists, culture works, educators, and advocates face numerous issues in their work, from inconsistent funding to restrictions on artistic expression, which impact the rakyat’s ability to also participate in a vibrant cultural life in Malaysia.

In their 2025 Town Hall, ReformARTsi will be launching a new public arts advocacy campaign designed to initiate big changes for the arts and culture landscape in Malaysia. If you are interested in building a movement pushing for increased funding in the arts, improved arts education, protection of artists and for better governance of the arts and culture sector, drop by or tune in to the 2025 ReformARTsi Town Hall - we would love to see you there!
