With a voice steeped in nostalgia, Rakesh sings the timeless raag-based gems of Bollywood’s golden era. Rooted in basic training in light Indian classical music in his childhood and later mentored by a maestro of retro music, Rakesh is rediscovering and sharing his musical passion in his golden years.

In this concert, Rakesh pays a heartfelt tribute to the songs that once stirred millions and will serenade the audience with immortal melodies originally sung by legends like Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar, and Kishore Kumar, and composed by some of the greatest music directors in Indian cinema.

He will be accompanied by stellar professional musicians:

-Dhiren Raichura on guitar – an accomplished artist who regularly collaborates with leading names in the Indian music industry.

-Jyotsna Nityananda on piano – a respected composer, educator, and performer whose musical sensitivity adds depth to every note.
