“40 or Not" is a creative work about the life journey of four male artists in their forties. They re-examine and explore the self-practice of performing arts in their respective life stages.

Using drama, dance, martial arts and music as the carriers to convey the work. All the characters, each with their very personality and past experiences, exhibit their inner struggles, desires and personal growth through performing arts.

Through the dialogues and body language of each character, they disclose the dream that has never faded in the passing of time. The delicate dance vocabulary expresses the emotions in the deepest of their heart. Martial arts symbolise the tenacity in the face of life challenges and, lastly, through music, the spiritual value of the entire work is connected, bringing emotional resonance and comfort

"40 or Not" reminded us of the thinking of life with profound themes, rich artistic tension and emotional resonance between people. This work is not solely about the story of four men in their forties, as well as the spiritual portrayal of everyone who is doing soul searching in the long river of time.

This creative work urges us that age is just a number, but the passion for pursuing dreams and the passion for living life will never go out of date. - 40 or Not, it is more than meets the eye.

《40而非》一部关于四位年近四十的男性艺术家生命历程的创作作品，他们在各自的人生阶段重新审视和探索表演艺术的自我实践。
作品以戏剧、舞蹈、武舞和音乐四大元素为载体，每个角色带着自己的个性和过往的经历，通过表演艺术传达他们的内心挣扎、渴望与成长。
他们通过角色对话和肢体语言，揭示岁月流逝中不曾褪色的梦想，细腻的舞蹈语汇表现出内心深处的情感，武舞则象征面对生活挑战的坚韧力量；并通过音乐串联整部作品的精神价值，带来情感的共鸣与慰藉。

《40而非》以深刻的主题、丰富的艺术张力及人与人的情感共鸣，唤醒对人生的思考。它不仅是四个男人的故事，更是每一个在时间长河中寻找自我的人们的心灵写照。

这部作品提醒我们，年龄只是数字，而追寻梦想和热爱生活的激情永不过时。

李劲松武艺坊
以“武术也是艺术”为理念，于1998年2月7日创立的李劲松武艺坊，将武术的视觉张力与肢体美学，结合舞蹈、戏剧、多媒体等各类型艺术，把传统武术文化引入专业剧场，成为马来西亚独一无二的武舞表演艺术团体。

成军以来，除了经常到全国各地呈现作品，也先后受邀前往英国、德国、比利时、摩纳哥、尼泊尔、韩国、泰国、中国、香港、台湾、印度、印尼及新加坡等国际艺术节演出。

Lee Wushu Arts Theatre
With a passion for the arts and a persistent drive to develop ‘Wushu as an art’, Lee Wushu Arts Theatre was founded in 1998. Its aim is to create Wushu in various aspects, blending the beauty and power of the discipline. The company specializes in the choreography of Martial Dance performances, presenting Malaysia’s first visual and physical aesthetics, and progressing to incorporate martial arts into performing arts, creatively blending culture and lifestyle.

Since its establishment, the troupe has not only frequently showcased its works nationwide but has also been invited to perform at international arts festivals in countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Monaco, Nepal, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Singapore, to name a few.
