🔔 IMPORTANT:
Those who have pre-registered must show up at the workshop location at least 15 min. prior to the workshop time (e.g. if workshop starts at 4.00pm, you must be there latest by 3:45pm for check-in). Otherwise your spot will be released.
These workshops curated by KeyNote Minds for YSDAF include diverse activities providing engaging, hands-on opportunities to explore Malaysian culture, foster creativity, and promote environmental consciousness to kids and families.
SoundCraft Studio - Foley Magic (11am - 12pm)
Participants make eco-friendly Malaysian musical instruments to create live sound effects for a short film.
Voices in Motion - Poetry (1pm - 2pm)
Participants create poems deepen their poems using stop motion video.
Skyline Studio - Wau Creation (3pm - 4pm)
Participants create Malaysian style kites (Wau) using simple and recyclable materials.
[Walk-In] All-Day Booth Activities for Curious Cats and Spontaneous Strollers (10am - 4pm)
Other activities available include story-based memory linking games, "Poetree" to display favourite poems and pantuns, upcycled music & jam session and selfie corner. No pre-registration required for this specific activity.
Ages: 3 - 12 years old (parents must accompany kids)
About the Artiste
Established since November 2023, they believe that stories are meant to leap off the page, dance through creative minds, and shape futures here in Keynote Minds.
They are on a mission to redefine education, turning it into a thrilling adventure where mind-blowing experiences are the norm. Their goal is to ignite powerful collaboration between teachers and students, bringing a fresh, imaginative spark to learning and creating a wealth of unforgettable opportunities for everyone.

About Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival
YSDAF 2026 Satellite is set to take place for one-day only on 5 April 2026 on The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre’s (klpac) grounds.
The upcoming satellite is a bite-sized offshoot from the biennial Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival (YSDAF) with two main events – “Synesthetic Symphony of Sound & Sight” and “Handyzone”.
