Join us for an unforgettable camping adventure, surrounded by the stunning views of the riverscape and Bukit Tabur. You’ll learn essential skills such as knife handling, fire making, shelter building, knot tying, and much more to enhance your experience and make it truly enjoyable.
The campsite is located at the base of Bukit Tabur, near the Klang Gates Dam, where you can enjoy the vibrant greenery and the refreshing river waters. You'll observe how human activities affect the water quality of the Klang River and discover ways to minimize your environmental impact while enjoying the outdoors.

Instructor 1 - Derik Ng
Derik's passion for the outdoors began at age seven with mountain biking and expanded to include hiking, kayaking, diving, and competitive rock climbing. By 13, he was competing in rock climbing, earning his first podium in 2011 and later representing Malaysia at the 2016 IFSC Asia Youth World Championships. While studying in Wisconsin, USA, Derik gained valuable leadership experience working with outdoor organizations and served as Assistant Race Director for the 2019 Adventure Race World Series in Malaysia. With a degree in Economics and extensive outdoor experience, Derik co-founded Morph Outdoors to inspire others through outdoor education, believing in nature's power to create positive change.
Instructor 2 - Adrian Chin
Adrian brings over 25 years of adventure sports expertise to Morph Outdoors and is a pioneer in Malaysia’s rock-climbing community, having been among the first Malaysians to compete internationally and securing 5th place in the regional Rock On competition. Certified as a climbing instructor by the FFME and holding national route-setting accreditation from CICE, he has significantly shaped the local climbing scene. His global travels have enriched his training and facilitation skills, making him a top consultant in adventure sports. Adrian has directed major events, including the Marlboro Adventure Team and the Adventure Racing World Series in Malaysia, and is passionate about using outdoor experiential learning to help individuals and teams reach their full potential, believing it fosters essential skills for everyday life.
Instructor 3 - Ryan Chew
Ryan graduated with a diploma in culinary arts from Sunway University and ventured into the outdoor field in 2019. A passionate adventurer, he explored diving, rock climbing, and cycling, earning his PADI dive master certification in the Perhentian Islands, which enabled him to lead dive trips. His true passion lies in youth development programs, where he combines his culinary skills with outdoor experiences, serving as head judge for the 2019 SEAL Challenge backwoodsman competition. Today, Ryan coaches youth in character development and camping skills, inspiring the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts.
