6 Voices 1 Stage 六声一舞台

One stage, six pieces, created, directed, and performed by graduates from the Intercultural Theatre Institute from India, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia. Through 20-minute short plays, they share stories from their cultures while delving into themes like the interplay between identity and history, as well as the tensions between individuals and their surroundings.

This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity for cross-cultural exchange. 6 Voices 1 Stage allows us to experience different cultures, languages, and perspectives on the same stage while showcasing the achievements of the Intercultural Theatre Institute, which combines traditional theatre art forms with contemporary theatrical training. Get ready to feel the collision and fusion of diverse cultures on the same stage!

Gifted.

Throughout her life, Suha has always been a shining example of mediocrity, unlike her twin sister Nina, a talented boxer and everyone’s favourite person. Suha explores her past failures, memories and dreams, searching for her own giftedness when something happens that would change their relationship forever.

Shelter 藏身处
By Hau Guei Sze, a.k.a. Zizi Hau

Inspired by the classic The Good Person of Szechwan, this one-woman show tells the story of Shen Di and her alter ego, Sui. Though they inhabit the same body, they represent the duality within a good woman—constantly seeking the meaning of goodness in a world that often questions it. As Shen Di and Sui navigate their journey, they find themselves torn between the ideals of virtue and the harsh realities of life. How does a woman define herself when faced with moral dilemmas? Is true goodness attainable, or is it merely a reflection of the choices we make?

DESAPARECIDOS

How long will we hide? How long will we stay silent, turning a blind eye? What is true freedom for, and for whom do we fight? For decades, the state has been systematically eroding our rights, yet we persist, living through different forms and times. We may disappear, but we will not be forgotten. This is a story of vanishing, of relentless search, and of rebellion.

A turn of events starts to happen when a man conducting a spiritual workshop realises that the ideology he once strongly believed in has started to haunt him.

12月 跨国合作点燃戏剧火花！

由Triple I Production House制作，卜卜剧场呈献及新加坡跨文化戏剧学院为支持单位，联手呈献的【六声一舞台】演出，由六部单人短剧组成。将于12月上旬在iBOX剧场演出。

一个舞台、六部戏，分别由来自印度、香港、新加坡、菲律宾以及马来西亚的“跨文化戏剧学院”毕业生自编、自导、自演。他们通过20分钟的短剧，讲述各自文化的故事，探讨身份与历史的关系、个人与环境的矛盾等议题。

这是一次不可错过的跨文化交流，【六声一舞台】，让我们在同一个舞台上体验不同的文化、不同的语言、不同的诉求，同时也展示了结合传统戏曲与当代戏剧训练的跨文化戏剧学院的训练成果。准备好在同一个舞台上，一起感受多元文化的碰撞与交融！
