• Calling All Primary School Band Members: Be part of a unique experience with “Wau Bulan,” a piece from the Malaysian Primary School Band competition set list. We invite all primary school band participants to bring their instruments and join us for a special collaborative performance.
• Spotlight on Local Talent: Experience the extraordinary talent of Nian Shee, a celebrated Malaysian marimba soloist, as she performs Alfred Reed’s “Concertino for Marimba.” This captivating piece blends classical sophistication with contemporary vibrancy, showcasing the marimba in a rare and stunning way.
• Celebration of Malaysian Culture: Enjoy “Kaansayan Sumuku,” a folk song from Sabah, highlighting Malaysia’s rich musical heritage and cultural diversity.
• Unique Musical Experience: Dive into magical worlds with performances of “Into Disney” and “Game Night.” These segments feature beloved Disney and game music, offering a nostalgic and exciting experience for fans of all ages.

Yon Nian Shee – Soloist: Yon Nian Shee is a celebrated percussionist performing regularly with the Philharmonic Winds of Malaysia, National Symphony Orchestra Malaysia, Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, and Kuala Lumpur City Opera. Her acclaimed performance of Alfred Reed’s Concertino for Marimba will highlight her extraordinary talent and innovative artistry.
