Walking on Street of Harmony in George Town
Jalan Majlis Kapitan Keling is affectionately called “Street of Harmony” because the street is home of several places of worship of different religions. The peaceful co-existence of all regions in Malaysia is visibly portrayed here, where St. George’s Church, Kuan Yin Temple, Sri Maha Mariamam Temple and Kapital Keling Mosque have stood together for more than 200 years.
