About

The workshop will focus on essential improv skills, including spontaneity, active listening, overcoming the fear of mistakes, creativity, non-verbal communication, teamwork, and building confidence.

We’ll also dive into short-form improv games and scenes. Participants will learn to create characters and scenes spontaneously with their scene partners, enhancing their stage presence and storytelling skills.

After the workshop, we’ll have a jam session! You’re welcome to stay and watch or join in the fun. The jam session is a great opportunity to further hone your skills, showcase what you’ve learned, or simply enjoy a good laugh while watching a series of quick, fun scenes and games in the short-form format. Staying for the jam session is optional but highly recommended!

Whether you’re new to improv or looking to refine your abilities, this two-hour workshop offers a comprehensive introduction to the art of improvisational theater in a fun and supportive environment.
