About
If you ever want to feel the power of a full wind band blasting your favourite anime songs (hence TIUP! geddit?), and immerse yourself in a sea of sounds in the grandest fashion, these are the concerts for you. With over 20 songs in each concert, we are confident we've selected some classics that you don't want to miss.
Some selections include songs from:
Sound! Euphonium, Dragon Ball Z, Galaxy Express 999, Space Battleship Yamato, Doraemon, My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo, Detective Conan, Pokémon, Digimon, One Piece, Cardcaptor Sakura, SLAM DUNK, Oshi no Ko, Your Name.... and more!
The two concerts are part of a larger mini-festival organised by the Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Orchestra and Choir (SKOC), in conjunction with members of the Hong Kong Wind Band Society. TIUP! is a festival to celebrate and promote wind band culture across the region. We created TIUP! to encourage music education in winds, brass and percussive instruments. The exchange programme with members of the Hong Kong Wind Band Society will allow wind band enthusiasts and professionals to share knowledge, skills and provide a platform for further research into strengthening the wind band culture across Asia.
