About
This workshop explores the mind-body connection and how your lifestyle choices affect your health.
“Macrobio-somatic” emerges from combining “macrobiotic” and “somatic”, referring to a holistic approach that integrates aspects such as movement, diet and environment harmony, to achieve overall well-being and vitality.
Through fun activities that help you move and connect with others, you will gain a better understanding of your body and feel more connected to the world around you.
This body-focused workshop is not just for professional dancers who wish to explore new creative perspectives and nurture their choreography development. The session also welcomes individuals of all ages who enjoy movement, whether through dance, yoga or self-care practices.
Workshop Content:
Breathing Better: Learn techniques to improve your breathing using your diaphragm.
Energy Pathways: Discover the Ren Channel (Conception Vessel) and Du Channel (Governing Vessel) in your body and learn how to activate them through movement.
Understanding Front Body and Back Body: Explore different layers of your body and how they connect through those pathways.
Balancing Energies: Understand how your body’s different Yin and Yang energies affect your movement and well-being.
