Low Yee Choy is the Artistic Director of lowercase laboratories where he directed his most recent work “titus andronicus”. "so happy i could die" which he directed under Theatresauce–a participative theatrical performance doubled as exhibition–is one of CloudJoi's top 10 best-selling shows of 2023, and was later selected to be part of CloudJoi’s JoiFest Season 4. In the same year, he directed “hello, can you call me back?” – a participative 6-hour long exhibition-performance. He debuted directorially with Dinsman’s “Bukan Bunuh Diri” under Anomalist Production in 2020. His comedic short film, 疫见你, won first prize at the Ripple Film Festival in 2020. He was trained under Theatresauce's Emerging Directors Lab 2020-2022, where he directed Alfian Sa'at's “Downstream Delta”, devised “sometimes my thoughts are violent” and “untitled, 2022”.
