Gan Cynthia began singing at the age of six at the Young Choral Academy. She went under the guidance of Miss Susanna Saw at the age of seven and has been learning under her since. Cynthia has travelled to many countries, such as Germany, Vienna,Latvia as a chorister and has participated in numerous festivals as well as competitions such as the World Choir Games. She also participated in the Voices In Bloom competition just last year and was one of the few finalists of the competition.
Furthermore, Cynthia has also been on the MPO stage several times joining productions such as
"The Creepy Crawlies", and many more. In the year 2022, Cynthia has also performed in Kipac production "Rewind" as one of the vocalist.
Recently, in the month August 2023, Cynthia has performed in “True Love Waits”and has been chosen as the soloist for “Creep” in KLPAC. Following month of November, Cynthia has also performed as one of the cast ''Mrs.
Sowerberry" in "Oliver! the musical" in YCA production at KLPAC.
