Rachel An

Rachel An studied cello at Chungbuk Arts High School and Chung-Ang University, and she completed the Art MBA program at Kyung Hee University. As a cellist and classical concert planner, she has built a diverse and rich musical career.

She has performed as a member of the Chungbuk Youth Orchestra and Gwacheon Youth Orchestra and has participated in various international concerts, including the Kobe Cello Festival in Japan and invitation performances in China and Thailand. She has also won multiple competition awards and has been actively engaged in chamber music and orchestral performances.

With a deep passion for tango and gypsy music, Rachel An has worked as a cellist in a Korean jazz band, contributing to album recordings, live performances, and broadcasts on KBS and EBS.

Currently, she is based in Penang, Malaysia, where she continues her musical journey through various performances and educational activities, sharing the beauty of music with a wider audience.
