Nick Choo is an award-winning musical theatre writer and composer whose original works have been produced in Malaysia, Australia, South Korea and Singapore. These include the BOH Cameronian Arts Awards-winning "The Edge" (2013 and 2018); the Cammies-nominated children's musical "Zak Zebra's Africa Safari" (2015); and the revue "Four in Fifty: A Mini Musical Marathon”, which was nominated for a theatre award in Western Australia's Fringe World Festival 2018 and produced as "Lost/Found" by theatrethreesixty the following year.
Most recently his full-length Christmas musical "Follow The Light" was also presented by theatrethreesixty and directed by Christopher Ling, celebrating its 12th anniversary since the Malaysian premiere.
For Cempaka Performing Arts Company, Nick has composed "Alice's Wonderland" (2017), "Dames & Dimes" (2019), and, of course, "Spooks".
