We are the University of Malaya Lion Dance Troupe, made up of graduates and undergraduates. Since 2007, we’ve actively performed in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, especially during Chinese New Year. Our mission is to preserve Chinese cultural heritage by teaching Lion Dance to UM students and ensuring this tradition continues through our 10 school branches across Selangor. We also perform 24 Festive Drums, Luminous Dragon Dance, and other cultural arts to promote and celebrate Chinese traditions.
