CloudJoi Look Out: A pitching with no prizes, just real opportunities!

Published on 15/10/2024

CloudJoi Look Out is an exciting pitching event designed to showcase fresh ideas that run across different seasons. Each season comes with its own set of keywords, and participants are invited to craft and present their proposals based on these themes.

"Got prize for the winner one ah?" Not exactly—but if your idea shows real promise, we might just make it happen! Find your gang, join the game, or flying solo pun okay! Everyone’s welcome to join the fun. Let's see what you’ve got!

"Aku masih tak faham, buat ape event ni?" So, here’s how it works: participants submit a brief idea through our online form to enroll themselves in the pool. You’ll still have the chance to refine and develop your idea into a full presentation later on. Then, you’ll present your idea in front of a panel and public attendees. We’ll even have a voting session where people can cast their vote for their favorite proposal—either with a piece of paper or a name card.

"No prize, vote for what oh?" The real win is connecting with people who share an interest in your idea! Who knows, they could be your future project partners. Our panelists, including CloudJoi, will be there to offer support and guidance too!

"What are the keywords of the first season?"

Malaysia is a vibrant mosaic of cultures, races, cuisines, religions, and languages. As a nation known for embodying the essence of "Truly Asia," our diversity is our greatest strength. But how do we, as Malaysians, see ourselves? Let’s come together to reflect on our identity and explore new ways to express it through show business ideas that celebrate our unique heritage and draw visitors from around the world.

Whether it’s a performance in an intimate indie bar or a grand thousand-seat theatre, If you have a show business idea that could thrive in Malaysia’s dynamic tourism landscape, we want to hear from you! This is your opportunity to bring your vision to life.

"Macam mana nak daftar?"
Simply fill out a few quick questions to help us understand your project before your presentation. Once completed, you will receive an email with more details.

At CloudJoi Look Out, the journey is just as important as the destination. This is your chance to be creative, connect with like-minded individuals, and work together as a collective to bring your ideas to life. The key is to enjoy the process, embrace the excitement, and have fun along the way. Let your imagination soar, and who knows? Your idea could be the next big thing in Malaysia's show business and tourism scene!

So, gather your thoughts, share your vision, and let’s make something amazing—together!

Please read the Q&A below before you submit. Don't skip anything! The MOST IMPORTANT info is hidden in the last question—make sure you get there!

Yes, you may! However, non-Malaysians must team up with a Malaysian participant to enter the pitching event as a group.
