CloudJoi and UiTM Unite to Amplify Malaysian Arts

Published on 28/08/2024

We’re excited to announce a major milestone in our journey to unite communities through the performing arts. Recently, CloudJoi had the privilege of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), marking a pivotal step in our mission to amplify Malaysian arts.

We are honored to be part of this partnership alongside other industry players such as GMBB, Creative Stew, and Dear Creative Media. This initiative is more than just a collaboration; it’s a strategic effort to bridge the gap between the industry and the university, offering UiTM students a unique chance to explore and engage with the creative world beyond campus.

UiTM is Malaysia’s largest and most comprehensive university, known for its innovative education and state-of-the-art infrastructure. With 34 campuses, 4 colleges of studies, 14 faculties, and 9 academic centers nationwide.

This partnership isn’t just about putting on shows to sell; it’s about exploring new ways to support creativity, whether through streaming platforms, collaborations, or other exciting projects. Our goal is to empower the next generation of artists and innovators at UiTM find their voice and share it with the world. Kevin, our COO and co-founder, highlighted how CloudJoi has evolved from an online streaming platform into a hub for all things performing arts and culture, supporting and elevating the creative industry with over 600,000 tickets sold, generating over RM30 million in ticket sales for the performing arts sector.

Together, we’re working to inspire and empower the next generation of creative minds, providing them with the tools and experiences needed to thrive in the creative industry. Stay tuned for more exciting developments as we continue to bring the best of the creative world to UiTM students and beyond.
